Terms of sale:

Conditions for payment of membership fees in FØL Norway.

Anyone over the age of 18 can join FØL Norge. 

Membership in FØL Norway follows the calendar year and is valid from 1 January to 31 December.

Membership fee as of 01.01.2023:

• Low rate: NOK 150 per person

• Intermediate rate: NOK 250 per person

• High rate: NOK 350 per person

Scope:

These terms and conditions apply to ordering and paying for membership in FØL Norway (organisation number: 921 107 439).

Consumer purchases over the Internet are mainly regulated by the Contracts Act, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Marketing Act, the Right of Cancellation Act and the E-commerce Act, and these laws give the consumer inalienable rights. These payment conditions therefore do not imply any restrictions on the statutory rights, but provide information on the parties' most important rights and obligations.

Prices and payment terms:

Current membership fees for FØL Norway are listed at the top of this page, and are updated annually at the annual meeting. This price includes all taxes and additional costs. Additional costs that the seller has not informed about before the purchase shall not be borne by the buyer. Payment of membership fees can be made either at Vipps through the payment solution on the website, through "Become a member" or transfer to a bank account.

Members' rights and obligations:

• Members can participate in FØL Norge's activities.

• Members have the right to vote at the annual meeting and are eligible for election to the board.

• Loss of membership rights can occur if behavior or statements are contrary to FØL Norge's statutes and guidelines. A written warning must be sent in advance, and the member must have the opportunity to make a statement to the board.

• If the member does not pay the membership fee, the member will lose his membership right and the membership will be terminated.

• All members themselves are obliged to inform about changes such as address etc. This is done to: postmaster@folnorge.no.

Right of withdrawal:

There is no right to cancel the membership fee with us. If you still wish to end your membership, this can be done by sending us an e-mail at: postmaster@folnorge.no. In the following year, membership can be renewed by making a new payment.

 

Right of appeal:

Complaints must be addressed to the seller within a reasonable time, cf. points 9 and 10. The parties must try to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer can contact the Consumer Council for mediation. The Consumer Council is available on phone 23 400 500 or www.forbrukerradet.no.

Privacy statement:

When paying for membership, your information is used to register you as a member in our system. FØL Norge does not process sensitive information in its register.

FØL Norway is subject to the Act on the Processing of Personal Data. Personal data is collected, processed and stored in accordance with this. We only collect and process personal information that you provide to us, and that is necessary for us to be able to register you as a member.

In accordance with the Personal Data Act, you have a right of access with regard to personal data relating to you. You can contact us at any time and ask for corrections if you think the information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete. If you have questions about personal data relating to you, or wish to make use of your rights to correction, blocking, deletion, etc. according to the Personal Data Act, you can contact us at postmaster@folnorge.no.
